PAHRUMP, Nev. — Martina Amelia “Tina” Pfannenstiel, 89, of Pahrump, passed away Nov. 25, 2014. Born Jan. 17, 1925, in Hays, Kan., to Philomena and Henry Herklotz, Tina wed Art Pfannenstiel on July 29, 1947, and was blessed with six children, Donald, Dan, Donnie, Marilyn, Mary and Art Jr. They lived in Bavaria, Kan., until retiring to Nevada in 1996.

An avid animal lover, Tina enjoyed crocheting and gardening in the company of her pets. She was a longtime parishioner of Sacred Heart Cathedral in Salina, Kan.

She is survived by two daughters, Marilyn Champlin and Mary Baer; three siblings, Vanita, Lexie and Jerry Herklotz; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and Rocky the Bird. Tina will be missed, always loved and forever remembered.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Salina, followed by burial at Roselawn Memorial Park and a luncheon at Sacred Heart Cathedral.
