Richard Krol, age 81, formerly of Hamtramck and Warren, died Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Church of Christ Care Center. Richard was born and raised in Hamtramck and very proud of his Polish heritage. He served in the United States Army and was a Korean War veteran. Richard retired from National Broach and Machine Company. He enjoyed camping, fishing, golfing, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren. Loving father of Diane (Steve) Gregor of Harrison Township; dear grandfather of Lauren and John. Funeral on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens. Visitation Monday from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
