Sioux Falls, Grace M. Lueth, 82, died on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at Avera McKennan Hospice. Grace Marion Gillen, the daughter of Mike and Lulu (Price) Gillen, was born on March 1, 1924 in Hartford, SD where she grew up and graduated from Hartford High School.

Grace was united in marriage with Raymond C. Lueth in Hartford on June 21, 1945. Grace worked along with her husband farming for many years in the Hartford area.

When their children were older, Grace began working as a housekeeper at Dow Rummel, the Ramada Inn and Avera McKennan Hospital for a number of years. She continued to work part time at the Sioux Valley Clinic in Hartford before retiring. Grace had a sharp and quick wit about her that made working fun for her and the others that she worked with.

Grace enjoyed time gardening, growing vegetables and flowers. Along with Ray she enjoyed playing cards with the 500 Club at St. George, Grace always had a deck of cards with her and also enjoyed playing solitaire. She loved to cook large family meals during the holidays and before all the cleaning up was done she would be planning the next meal.

Grace was a member of St. George Catholic Church and the Alter Society.

Grateful for having shared her life are her children, David (Shirley) Lueth, Linda Lueth, all of Sioux Falls, Jean (Roger) Beck, rural Sioux Falls, eight grandchildren, Jeff Lueth, Jon (Ranelle) Lueth, Alan Lueth, James Lueth, Rob Lueth, Derek Lueth, Dan Beck, Marian Beck; two sisters, Dorothy Janssen, Hartford, SD, Rozella "Kitty" (Jack) Dalke, Sioux City, IA; and a host of relatives and friends.
