Funeral services for Raymond Machacek, 68, of Rosenberg, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg, with Msgr. Robert Barzyk officiating. A rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday in Davis Funeral Home Chapel in Rosenberg. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Machacek, born in Beeville Sept. 26, 1914, was employed by Fort Bend County Precinct 1. He died Tuesday in Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Christine of Rosenberg; one daughter, Georgie Matocha of Austin; a son, Allen Machacek of Fort Worth; one sister, Lydia Matocha of Freeport; two brothers, Charlie Machacek of Freeport and John Machacek of Ganado; and five grandchildren.
