Freda J. Cardwell, 51, of Tiffin, passed away at 2:07 p.m., Monday, December 8, 2014 at the St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo. Freda was born on May 10, 1963, in Tiffin, to Don and Elaine (Ritchie) Hurt. She married William W. Cardwell III on October 17, 1997 in Whitesburg, KY and he survives in Tiffin. Survivors include her children, Matt Clinard of Bucyrus, William W. Cardwell IV of Tiffin and two grandchildren. Freda worked in home health care and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and her dogs. Freda was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Keller. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin with the Rev. Paul Tyree officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, from 4-7 p.m. and on Saturday, from 10-11 a.m., at the funeral home. There will be no burial held at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
