CRAMER, Donald H.

Entered into rest December 10, 2014 at the age of 92.

Father of Judi Husted (Darrell) and Diane Alexander (Lee), grandfather of Jason Ramos, Jayna Longstreet (Michael), Donald Alexander (Emily), great grandfather to Morgan and Abigail Longstreet, brother-in-law of Doris Serif, William Lusich and Don Boulware (Rosa), and uncle of many other family members, all of whom he dearly loved.

Don was bom in Rudd, Iowa on Dec. 6, 1922 and attended Rock Rapids HS and the University of Dubuque.

He served our country honorably in the Army Air Corps during WWII, was a furniture maker in Spokane and settled in Sacramento, CA in 1949, where he was a member of Joined Carpenters Local No. 46 for 65 yrs.

He was a hardworking and loving husband and father as well as an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Don married his wife, Phyllis in 1951. Tragically they lost their oldest of three daughters, Lynne in an accident in 1968, but persevered over 25 years of marriage until Phyllis passed in 1976.

Don later was married to his wife, Pat for 24 years with whom he enjoyed being a golfer and Arizona snowbird until her passing in 2003. Don was also preceded in death by his brothers, Albert (Shirley) and Melvin (Edna).

Visitation is scheduled Sunday, Dec. 14 from 2 to 7pm, and funeral services Monday, Dec. 15 at 10am, both at River Cities Funeral Chapel, 910 Soule St., West Sacramento, CA.

Private inurnment.
