GIOVANNI 'JOHN' CARBONE, 73, passed away Friday, January 23, 2009, at his home in Ormond Beach, FL. Born in Roccoromona, Italy, he was the son of the late Vincenzo and Eleonora (Montanaro) Carbone. He was a foreman for the former Carlson Corporation.
John is survived by his two daughters, Doreen Gervelis, of Cranston, and Joanne Carbone, of North Providence; his granddaughter, Alexandria Gervelis; and sadly missed by Shirley Carbone. He was the brother of Luigi, Giuseppe, Alfonso, Antonio and Pietro Carbone, Philomena Perrotti, Orsola Vessella, Letizia D'Andreti, Maria Decanutti and the late Carmine 'Mike' Carbone and Guido Carbone.
