GEORGE, EVELYN B., 88, of Johnston, formerly of Providence the wife of the late Raymond George, Sr., passed away peacefully on January 20, 2005. She was the daughter of the late Salim and Sadie (Saad) Abbood.

Evelyn was born in Utica, New York. Her brothers and sisters are all deceased, Michael Abbood, Margaret Troccoli, Delia McDonnell, Harry Abbood and Louis Abbood. Evelyn was the proud mother of 3 children: Nancy Pasquariello and her husband Gennaro of Johnston, Raymond George, Jr. and wife Matilda of Plainville, MA, and Richard George and wife Susan of Orleans, MA.

Sitto loved her grandchildren and would share a warm hug and kiss with them every chance she had! Rachael and her husband Michael Hauer of Attleboro, Matthew and wife Lisa George of Attleboro, Gene and wife Kate Pasquariello, Jr of North Smithfield, Nancy Ann Pasquariello of Johnston, Michael and wife Kathy George of Attleboro, and Raymond and wife Antonella Pasquariello of Cranston.

The happiest moment of her day was when she was able to give a kiss to her treasured great grandchildren: Lauren, Nicole and Sabrina Hauer, Gene the 3rd, Jennifer and Andrew Pasquariello, Raymond George 3rd, Abigail George, Maxwell and Valentina Pasquariello.

The family thanks everyone for the loving care and kindness that was given to Evelyn by the staff at Cherry Hill Manor, and the many friends and family who shared a living moment with her in the last days of her life.

Entombment in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum, St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
