She was born on May 30, 1930, in Oshkosh, WI a daughter to John and Louise Pechman Demler.
She married Kenneth Dickie in June of 1952.
Marie was a very strong lady who raised 10 children on her own and was a wonderful loving mother. She will be sadly missed and never forgotten. We will treasure our memories with her. We all love you, Mom, and we will all miss you. Rest in Peace.
She is survived by a son, Gary (Mary) Dickie; five daughters: Mary (Tim) Dietrich, Geraldine (Randy) Burton, Laurie (Bill) Mongin, Rosie Lefeber and Marie (Carlos) Romo; 22 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; four sisters: Marcella Ziebell, Margie Volkman, Genevive Brans and Rose Weitz.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth; sons David and Kenny; two daughters, Linda Elzey and Sharon Zimpher; two sisters, Betty Gerth and Cecilia Eichman; seven brothers, Harry, Albert, John, Richard, Robert, Clifford and Joseph Demler; and two sons in law, Gary Zimpher and Robert Lefeber.
The Liturgy of the Word for Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am on Friday, December 19, 2014 at Mach Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 31 E. Division St. Fond du Lac, WI.
The visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Mach Funeral Chapel & Crematory and from 10:00 am until the time of service on Friday.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Oshkosh.
Memorials may be directed to St. Agnes Hospice Home of Hope.
