Funeral services were held on Wednesday at Medford for Edward J. Billib [Billeb], 83, of Muskego, a former Colby resident. Billib died Sunday, June 14, 1965 [1964!] at Muskego, where he had been making his home for the past 11 years. The Rev. William P. Holzhausen officiated at the service. Burial was made in Evergreen Cemetery at Medford.

Edward Billib was born in Chicago sept. 4, 1880. He was employed at the Welsch Coal and Fuel Co. in Colby for 17 years, after which he moved to Muskego. His wife died in 1952.

Survivors includ three sons, Raymond Billib, Muskego, Henry Friday, Colby, and Joseph Friday of Kimberly; a daughter, Mrs. Otto Chermak, Chaska, Minn.; three sisters, Emma Mathewson, Milwaukee, Millie Berry, Covina, Calif., and Anna Gallegly, Madelia, Minn.; and three brothers, Christ Billib, Thiensville, Herman Billib, Milwaukee, and William Billib, Jefferson. There are also 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
