Margaret Kreidler McHugh, age 96, of Maysville, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2014, at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe, in Maysville. She was the widow of Pete McHugh, who passed away June 20, 1992. Mrs. McHugh was born in August 23, 1918, in Bracken County, Kentucky, to the late Dr. C. G. and Elizabeth Best Kreidler. She was a housewife who, along with her husband, owned and operated Kenton Station Golf Course until her retirement in 1989.

Survivors include: two sons, Chris (Rita) McHugh, of Maysville, and Bill (Toni) McHugh, of Richmond, Kentucky; a daughter, Peggy (Terry) Heflin, of Maysville; five grandchildren, Jana (Anthony) Mayer, of Richmond, Kentucky, Brian McHugh, of Maysville, Dr. Megan (C.D.) Williams, of Lexington, Rebecca McHugh (Burton Elrod), of Nashville, Tennessee, and Shaun (Nicole) Heflin, of Lexington; four great-grandchildren, Caleb Mayer, Asher Mayer, Matthew Mayer and Cameron Heflin; and a brother, Joe Kreidler, of Simpsonville, South Carolina. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Walter Kreidler and Charles Kreidler.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December, 20, at Saint Patrick Church with Rev. Tom Kreidler and Rev. Michael Comer as co-celebrants, assisted by Deacon Andrew Young. Burial will follow in Saint Patrick Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Brell and Son Funeral Home, with prayers at 7:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saint Patrick Church or the charity of one’s choice.
