Thursday, Jan. 31, 2008 as the
result of an automobile accident.

She was born on Oct. 21,
1977 in Normal, Ill. Angela
worked for Keller-Williams
Realty in Mooresville. She also
worked for several years as an
elementary school teacher
and continued to volunteer at
her nieces and nephew’s
school. She touched many
lives with her kindness and involvement
in the community.

She is survived by her husband,
Ryan Eugene Hager; father,
Steven Flores and stepmother,
Kathy, of Normal, Ill.;
mother, Kimberly Pappas
Blanton and stepfather, James,
of Denver; paternal grandmother,
Guadalupe Flores of
Downers Grove, Ill.; maternal
grandparents, Daniel and Audrey
Pappas of Mooresville;
great-grandparents, Mae and
Joe Thibeault of Stuart, Fla.;
brothers, Michael Flores of
Mooresville, Gregory Zmirak
and Hunter Blanton, both of
Denver; and sisters, Lindsay
Duke of Troutman and Stephanie
Flores of Normal, Ill.

Funeral services were held
at 11 a.m. Tuesday Feb. 5, in
the chapel of Raymer Funeral
Home with Rev. Rick Auten
officiating. Interment followed
at Mt. Zion Community
Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials
may go to the Juvenile
Diabetes Research Foundation,
120 Wall Street, 19th
Floor, New York, N.Y. 10005.

Daniel Harry Pappas, 86, of Mooresville, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 22 2010 at the Saturn Nursing & Rehab in Charlotte. He was born on Jan. 9, 1924 in Chicago, Ill., to the late Harris and Bessie Pappas. He was a World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he was a Purple Heart and Silver Star recipient. He was a retired attorney from Chicago. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughters, Diane Pappas, Nicolette Knox; and granddaughter, Angela Flores-Hager.

He is survived by his wife, Audrey Wallace Pappas; sons, Michael Pappas of Lake Lotawana, Mo., Daniel Pappas of Mt. Airy, Md.; and daughter, Kim Blanton of Denver. "Mr. P" as he was affectionately known had nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 26 at CavinCook Funeral Home Chapel.
