In 1903 Zylpha Sutton was accused of purchasing arsenic that her sister, Martha Bowers, used to poison her husband, Martin L. Bowers. After the first hearing, Martha was held for trial and Zylpha was released.
Zylpha married 2nd Ike Rubenstein, date & place unknown. They resided in Los Angeles County. By the 1930 census Zylpha was married to Frank Knaup in Los Angeles.
