July 18, 1923 undersigned priest baptized Alphonso John, born on the 16th, lawful son of Alphonsus Brown, farmer and Lena Heney of this parish. Sponsors were Leo Brown and his wife Margaret Noonan.

Retired - DND Peacefully in hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Sunday, March 17, 2002, age 78 years. Beloved husband of Theresa Terry (nee Larochelle). Loving brother of Mary Bourgault, Bertha Kennedy, Kathleen Malizia, Ann Warren, Elena Lennon and the late Larry Brown, Muriel Smith and Arthur Brown. Dear brother-in-law of Germain, Andre and Jacques Larochelle, Huguette Sylvain, Louise Blaney and the late Ange-Emile, Jean-Guy Larochelle and Rejeanne Domingue. Alphonso will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks to dear friends Andre and Aline Gagnon and to nurse Laurie Waterman. Friends may visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilivie Road at Aviation Parkway on Wednesday, March 20, 2002 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Annunciation Of The Lord Roman Catholic Church, 2414 Ogilvie Road on Wednesday, March 20 at 11 a.m. Private interment at a later date at St. Patrice, Quebec.
