Lydia Kerbel, 85, of Jefferson, died Monday, Jan. 22, 1996, at Countryside Home in Jefferson. She was born in Russia on Jan. 4, 1911, a daughter of John J. and Catherine Leonhardt Kerbel. She moved from Fond du Lac to Jefferson. Miss Kerbel was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. Survivors include one brother, Alex and his wife Lillian of Fort Atkinson; and two sisters, Marie Schnell and her husband Herman of Holiday, Fla., and Emma Al-brandt of Fond du Lac. She was preceded in death by one brother, Jacob. Services: Following cremation, memorial graveside services will be held at a later date at Estabrooks Cemetery. Dunlap Memorial Home of Fort Atkinson is assisting the family.
