She was born and raised in Esker, Ireland, daughter of the late James and Mary (Quinn) Corrigan. She lived most of her life in Middletown. She was a communicant of St. John's Parish, and a founding mother of MARC. She was an avid gardener, and crocheted memorable blankets for her family.
A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, she is survived by her son, Peter and his wife, Mariela (Silky) of Bethany, and their three children; a daughter, Maureen Fudge and her husband, Jon of Westbrook, and their four children; a daughter, Kathleen Hill and her husband, Bill of Papillion, NB, and their four children; a son, Edward and his wife, Deborah of Higganum; a son, Robert of Middletown and his three children; a daughter, Patricia Pytlik and her husband, John of Haddam Neck, and their three children; a son, Michael and his wife, Alicia of Cromwell, and their two children; and a daughter, Joan of East Haddam. Mary was also predeceased by her son, John. She is also survived by her sisters, Margaret of Ireland, Nellie of New Jersey, Kathleen of New York; and her close friends of the Spencer Drive "Sewing Club".

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, 10am at St. John's Church, Middletown, Tuesday, August 7. Friends may call at the Rose Hill Funeral Home, 580 Elm St., Rocky Hill, Monday, August 6, 6-9 p.m. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mary's memory may be made to the Middlesex Hospice, 28 Crescent St, Middletown or St. John's Church, St. John's Square, Middletown CT.
