Dwight Stefan Demuth was born on December 15, 1993, in Sioux Falls, SD, to Ronald Demuth and Michelle (Gravley). He grew up in Russell, attended Holy Redeemer Catholic School and graduated from Marshall High School in 2012. Dwight achieved his Associate of Science degree from the North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, ND. He returned to Russell and was working as a John Deere Service Technician for Schuneman Implement Dealership in Marshall and Tyler. Dwight loved working on tractors and diesel engines. He had a thirst for knowledge and always enjoyed fixing things and finding out how things work. He was passionate about everything he did including hunting, cooking and outdoor activities. He enjoyed spending time with family especially nieces and nephews.

Dwight died on Sunday, January 11, 2015, at his residence in Russell.

He is survived by his parents Ron (and Alice) Demuth of Russell, Michelle (and Jesse) Carter of Taunton, siblings Elaine (and Jason) Wischnak ,Dylan Demuth, Cheyenne Demuth, Ryker Demuth and Jagger Carter, step-sisters Theresa Mercie and Angela Michelson, grandparents Dorothy Demuth, Pat and Daniel Taveirne and Duane Gravley, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and special friend Jenna DeBrower of Russell.
