FREDERICK REUS
Frederick Reus, 231 Cherry dr., SE., Spanish-American war veteran, died Sunday night at Michigan Veterans facility after a long illness. He was 65 years old.
A lifelong resident of Grand Rapids, Mr. Reus was a salesman most of the time he was in businsess, and was a guard at Extruded Metals Defense corporation until his last illness. He was a member of Guy V. Henry camp, No. 3 USVFW, and of St. Alphonsus church.
Surviving are his wife, Meta; two sons, Edward and Lee; a daughter, Mrs. William E. Yitalo; and one sister, Mrs. John Matzen, all of Grand Rapids.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. Alphonsus church. Graveside services will be conducted by the Guy V. Henry camp in Mt. Calvary cemetery.
