Albert Paul Stricker of Rogers City passed away at the venerable age of 99 years 8 months 4 days on January 14, 2015, at his son's home in Hawks. He was born May 10, 1915, in Rogers City to Ferdinand and Martha (Wenzel) Stricker.

On October 24, 1940, Albert was united in marriage with Bernice Stoinski at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Posen.

Albert was Co-Grand Marshal in the 2012 Nautical City Festival Parade. He retired from the Calcite Plant as a carpenter after 40 plus years of employment. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Friday, January 16, 2015, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m.

Visitation will resume at St. John Lutheran Church on Saturday, January 17, 2015, from 11:00 a.m. through time of funeral at 12:00 (noon) with Pastor Eric Voigt officiating. Rogers City VFW Post 607 will accord military honors immediately following church services.

Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to St. John Lutheran Church in memory of Albert Stricker.
