Theresa M. Lussier, Age 83,of Battle Creek, passed away at home on January 13, 2015 surrounded by her family and friends. Theresa was born December 29, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan to George and Mary Skok. Raised in Hazel Park, Michigan, Theresa graduated from St. Mary's High School in Royal Oak. She married her high school sweetheart Louis Lussier and had 8 children raising them in Royal Oak and Battle Creek. She was a member of St. Dennis Catholic Church in Royal Oak from 1954 - 1961. After moving to Battle Creek, Theresa and her husband Louis became members of St. Joseph Catholic Church and she was active in Altar Society and church functions. Her love of classical music stemmed from high school glee club with performances in choir and musicals.

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents George and Mary Skok, her sisters: Frances, Eva, Mary, Catherine, and her brothers Johnny, Herman, George and Robert; her husband Louis, her daughter Patrice Lussier Brady, and her great granddaughter Lainey Kreger. She is survived by her children, Paula (Anthony) Cairo, Peter (Susan) Lussier, Philip Lussier, Perry Lussier, Pamela (John) Fiorelli, Louis (Melinda) Lussier, and Lisa (Mark) Carey; 24 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren, also sisters-in-law: Therese (Richard) DeArment, Heidi Lussier, Julia Lussier, Patricia Lussier, Bettina Lussier and Donna Lussier; and many nieces and nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2015 (with a celebration of Theresa's life between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.) at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home, Battle Creek. Viewing 9:00 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2015 at St Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
