WRIGHTSVILLE Kenneth J. "Ken" Eshelman, 80, died on January 21, 2015 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Izetta J. (Lentz) Eshelman, together they celebrated 61 years of marriage. Born in Emigsville on October 20, 1934, he was the son of the late Warren and Mary (Mumper) Eshelman. Ken was a farmer and also owned and operated Ken's Service Station in East Prospect from 1973 until 2000. He was a member of the York Lodge No. 266 F&AM and York Forest #30, Tall Cedars of Lebanon. Ken was also a Lower Windsor Township Supervisor for 17 years. He enjoyed hunting and traveling, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and his dog, Levi. In addition to his wife, he is survived by six children, Jeffery L. Eshelman and his wife, Bonnie of Hellam, Kenneth John Eshelman, Jr. of Wrightsville, Mary A. Krepps of York, Kathy L. Johnson and her husband, Thomas of Landisville, James W. Eshelman and his wife, Frances of York and Susan E. Eshelman of East Prospect; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Gilbert W. Eshelman of Manheim; and a sister, Marion Stabley of Hanover. A funeral service will be held on Monday January 26, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 1111 E. Market St., York, with Pastor Thomas Myers officiating. A viewing will be held Monday from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
