Alfred Jesse Englert, 86, who loved gardening and flowers, died Tuesday in his home, in Fromberg, Montana, after a short illness. Born in Hay Springs, Nebraska, a son of Thomas and Frances Englert, he grew up in the Fromberg area.
In 1928 he married Ethel Cable. In 1948 they moved to Byron, Wyoming, where he farmed until 1968, when they returned to Fromberg.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Laurel Memorial Chapel, Laurel. Burial will be in Gebo Cemetery, Fromberg.
