Gertrude Bryant Way, age 94, formerly of Chapel Hill Rd., passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Alamance Health Care. A native of Chatham County, she was the wife of Ernest Earl Way and the daughter of Ida Brown and Joe Bryant, all deceased. She was a member of Andrews Memorial Baptist Church and a former choir member. Survivors include her children; Jake Way and wife Kay, Donnie Way and wife Georgia all of Burlington and Sue W. Hamilton and husband Bill of Troy; grandchildren, Megan Lemonds, Steven Way, Sherri Pass, Tammy Baldwin, Pam Church and Crystal Way-Payne. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and son, Ernest Joe Way. A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, January 22, 2015 in Pine Hill Cemetery.
