Thomas Kary Sproull (Phillips Legion, Company O) - Enlisted 5/6/1862 as Captain, Resigned 4/25/1863 citing failed health, Later joined Co E 10th Battalion Ga State Guards 8/1/1863 as a 4th Cpl and served for six months until the unit was discharged in February 1864, Brother of G M Sproull, Uncle of S T McGinnis, Died 9/11/1885 at Grand Island, Fl and buried at Old Fort Mason Cemetery, Eustis, Florida.

Sproull, - Enlisted 5/6/1862, "Present" on all rolls through war, Marcus Green diary entry for Chancellorsville notes that "McGintis was wounded" there, Captured 4/6/1865 at Sailors Creek and imprisoned at Point Lookout until released 6/29/1865, Oath shows him to be 5'9" with light hair and blue eyes, Born in 1836, Age 15 in 1850 Cass County census, Son of Hames and Leah McGinnis.
