Angela M. Oyen, age 82, of Madison, died on Thursday, January 14, 1993, in a Madison hospital.

The former Angela M. Bowar was born on January 10, 1911, in Cross Plains. She had been a Madison area resident since 1930.

She married George M. Oyen on August 16, 1941, at St Raphael's Cathedral in Madison. She also was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, George M. Oyen; a son, Keith (Sue) Oyen of Madison; a brother, Roman (Dorothy) Bowar of Madison; three sisters, Ceacelia (Lawrence) Kalscheur of Dane, Mildred (William) Wachtl of Florida, and Geraldine (Joseph) Schwoegler of Waunakee; and two grandchildren, Todd (Amy) Oyen of Alabama and Dena Oyen of Madison.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Laurence and Margaret Bowar; four sisters, Dorothy Grose, Veronica Oyen; Adeline Bohn, and Lorraine Bowar; and a brother, Vermer Bowar.

Funeral services were held on Monday, January 18, 1993 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with Father Raymond Maier officiated. Burial was held at Roselawn Memorial Cemetery in Monona.
