Aloysius "Loy" R. Boehm, 93, formerly of Halder, died Friday, May 3, 2013, at Northside Elder Estate, Stratford.

He was born Aug. 10, 1919, in Halder, the son of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Baur) Boehm. He married Dorothy Feltz on May 14, 1947, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, town of Cassel. They were married 54 years. She died Nov. 24, 2002.

Loy farmed in the town of Emmet for more than 40 years and enjoyed fox and coon hunting, traveling on bus trips with his wife Dorothy, and was an avid Packer and Brewers fan.

Survivors include three sons, Duane (Julie) Boehm, Dale (Janet) Boehm and Denny Boehm, all of Mosinee; a daughter, Shirley (Don) Dahlke, Mosinee; six grandchildren, Leah (PJ) Stussy, Lara (Brian) Bleck, Joshua and Korey Boehm, and Jared and Hannah Boehm; four great-grandchildren, Ian and Elle Stussy, and Kaden and Adam Bleck; a brother, Armin (Lorraine) Boehm, Mosinee; three sisters, Betty Drake, Mosinee, Dorothy Clark, Stevens Point, and Loretta (John) Kaiser, Marshfield; and a sister-in-law, Mary Boehm, Wausau. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Amanda Boehm, a great-granddaughter, Lauren Bleck, and four brothers, Roger, Leon, Hubert and Thomas.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, May 6, 2013, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Halder. The Rev. Joseph Diermeier and The Rev. Barnabas Kyea will officiate. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Halder. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Monday until time of services at the church.

Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, is in charge of arrangements.
