Jacob F. Maisack, Sr married sisters, Louisa and Lydia E Schwinger. Louisa and Lydia were born in Maryland to Andrew Schwinger and Catharine Feigley. Louisa and Jacob were married about 1859. When Louisa died, he married the sister, Lydia E. Schwinger, July 26, 1877 at the home of the bride's mother in Hagerstown, Maryland, by Rev S. W. Owen. Louisa and Lydia each had four children.

JACOB F. MAISACK, SR., an aged and respected citizen, passed away at 235 Summit Avenue Tuesday evening, after an illness of about four weeks, during which time he was confined to his bed. Death was due to a complication of troubles. He was aged 72 years, 4 months and 15 days.

Mr. Maisack emigrated to America from Baden, Germany, when a youth and settled in Hagerstown, where he spent the remainder of his life. He was a woodworker by trade and was an excellent mechanic. For years he was employed at the Moller Organ Works, this city.

He was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran church for many years, and was a member of the church council. He was also a member of Valley Lodge, Knights of Pythias. Mr. Maisack enjoyed the friendship and esteem of a large circle of acquaintances, who sincerely mourn his death.

He is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. M.A. Wible, Altoona, Pa.; William H. Maisack, Washington; Jacob F. Maisack, Jr., Chas. A., Harry A. and Frank C. Maisack, this city; Louise G., Elsie A. and Paul S. Maisack, at home. Mrs. Susan Smith, his sister, also survives him.

Funeral Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, services at St. John's Lutheran. Interment in Rose Hill. Of the eight pallbearers, four will bne from the church council and four from Valley Lodge, Knights of Pythias.
