Gary Kevin McCord, age 26, of Evansville, Ind., died at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 7, 2006, at his residence.
Kevin was born September 7, 1979, in Evansville, Indiana. He was a 1997 graduate of North High School and had previously worked at Multi Seal Inc. He loved cars, music and poetry and was an artist. Kevin loved spending time with his family, friends and his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Julie (Embry) and Mike Runge of Newburgh, Ind.; his father, Gary McCord of Evansville; his grandparents, Evelyn McCord of Evansville and Bob and Wanda Embry of Baskett, Ky.; four sisters, Angie McCord and Carlos Baltzell of Evansville, Holly McCord of Evansville, Casey Strouse and her husband, Brandon of Newburgh, Ind., and Sarah Runge of Newburgh, Ind.; one brother, John Runge of Newburgh, Ind.; seven nieces and nephews, Jana, Diante, Cameron, Carlos Jr., Calia, Brandon and Blaize; and many other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 12, 2006, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel — 5330 Washington Avenue, with Pastor Dan Sigler officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery, Evansville, Indiana.
