ANNIE BELL CAESAR was born July 27, 1928 in Clinton, Louisiana to the late Charlie Charleston and Felicia (Sweetie) Charleston. On October 5, 2014, she passed away peacefully at the Sanctuary at Passages Hospice in New Orleans, La. at the age of 86 years old. Annie Bell acknowledged her belief in the Almighty God and was baptized at the Wesley United Methodist Church in Wilson , LA under the leadership of Reverend J. W. Owens in the year of 1946. She constantly said, "Don't worry about me, I have made peace with GOD...Don't sit and worry, Be Happy."

Annie Bell was a compassionate Wife, Mother, God Mother, Aunt, Cousin, Sister, Sister in Law, as well as a devoted friend to many. She loved her children and grandchildren immensely and compassionately. Her love for children was evident with all she came in contact with; Annie Bell's nurturing extends across several states and areas throughout Louisiana. After moving to New Orleans, LA she met the Late Julius Peter Caesar, Jr., whom she married December 2, 1958. They remained married till his death on January 17, 2001. Annie Bell was also instrumental in the rearing of two grandsons, Bobby Tyson, Jr. and Jaden Owens.

Annie Bell is preceded in death by per parents Charlie and Felicia (Sweetie) Charleston, daughter Cynthia R Hoskins, son Norman Caesar, sisters Mary Kilbourne, Martha Bradford, Lee Ella Kennerson, and Annie Lee Cummins, and brothers Esther Lee Jones, Freddie Tapps, Levi Charleston, Levi Barrow Jr., William Barrow, Johnny Barrow, Aljy Charleston, Moses Charleston, Harry Charleston and Eli Charleston. Cherishing her memories is sister, Iola C. Bradford, Wilson, LA. Brother in laws; Hartzell Craig (Earline) Reno, NV, James Craig (Betty) New Orleans,LA, Ronald Craig Hayward, CA, Edward Craig (Cynthia) New Orleans, LA, Edwin Craig East Palo Alto, CA, Donald Craig Reno, NV and Julius Kennerson of Wilson ,LA. Sister in laws; Verdell Caesar Barnes of Queen Creek, AZ, Janice Washington of Hayward, CA, Joyce Clifton (Richard) Stockton, CA, Gwendolyn Turnbo (Matthew) San Antonio, TX, Barbara Craig San Antonio, TX. Annie Bell was the loving grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and numerous friends.
