Mrs. Eleanor (Ciesla) Rogowski of 60 Saratoga Avenue, Chicopee, died in Wesson Memorial Hospital, Sunday night after a brief illness.

Mrs. Rogowski was born in Bayda, Poland and had resided in Chicopee for the past 45 years. She was a member of the Polish National Alliance, Group 702. She leaves behind her husband, Louis Rogowski, and seven children - Leopold of Chicopee Falls, Alfred of Chicopee, Edward of Pearl River, N.Y.; Theodore, a student at Columbia University, N.Y; daughters Lorraine (Roland) Houle, Phyllis (Stanley) Kuzniar and Evelyn (Henry) Buika all of Chicopee; a brother Joseph Ciesla of Chicopee Falls; three sisters, Mrs. Stanley Cyrnek of Chicago; Mrs. Stefania Koziol of Buffalo N.Y. and Mrs. Mary Gayda of Admas; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be at the Rypysc Funeral Home in Chicopee, Wednesday morning at 9:30 with solemn requiem high mass in St. Stanislaus Church at 10:30. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in Chicopee.
