Jewell Alline Rowland-Cano, 90, passed away Monday, February 16, 2015 at Arch Stone Care Center in Chandler, AZ. Born April 19, 1924 in Ida, Louisiana to James Allen Thomas and Dora Carl Farmer-Thomas, she was one of 13 children. Alline was a homemaker and raised 3 children. They moved to Yuma, AZ in 1966. Alline was a member of the Yuma Women's Rod and Reel Club. She loved to fish and camp. Alline will be missed by all her loved ones.
Alline is survived by her children, James Rowland (Lydia) and Linda Bowlin (Steve); grandchildren, Angela, Michelle, Jamie, Ravae, Michaela, and Amber; and 6 great grandchildren; and sisters, Betty Sikes-Crow and Elouise Potts; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her son, Darell Rowland; first husband, Harrison Webster Rowland; second husband, Julian Bernal Cano; 10 siblings and her parents.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Friday, February 20, 2015 at Johnson Mortuary Chapel, 1415 S. 1st Avenue, Yuma.
