Edith was born September 6, 1916, to Otto and Ethel (nee Maroon) Wirtz in Greenville, IL. In 1936, she married Adolph Determann at the Grantfork United Church of Christ,
Grantfork, IL.
She worked 30 years part-time at Dolls Orchard. She loved to be around her family. She loved to bake and cook.
She is survived by her 4 children, Marie (David) Bimes, Highland, IL, Adolph Determann, Peoria, AZ, Christopher (Janice) Determann, Reno, IL, and Velma (Billy) Causey, Highland, IL; 10 grandchildren, Vicky Bimes, Kathy (John) Wommer, John Determann, Lori (Jeff) Howell, Cynthia (Danny) Crouch, Jennifer (Tim) Logue, Robert (Dena) Determann, Matthew (Heather) Causey, Andrew (Anji) Causey, and Steven (Lindsey) Causey; 8 great grandchildren, Kira (Austin) Smith, John Wommer III, Richard Young, Jr., Thomas Young, Amanda Crouch, Nicole Crouch, William Causey, and Saxton Causey; 4 great, great grandchildren, Quinton Crouch, Jayson Crouch, Ryder Crouch, and Peyton Smith; numerous nieces and nephews.

Determann (10-22-1945) in childhood; 2 sisters, Viola Leidner (7-20-1985) and Dorothy Witt (10-6-2006); 5 brothers, Ernest Wirtz (7-2-2001), Vernie Wirtz (7-19-2003), Carl Wirtz (2-14-1999), Otto Wirtz, Jr. (1-25-2004), and one brother in infancy (10-23-1924);
1 daughter-in-law, Donna Determann (5-15-2011).
