Funeral services for Joseph L. Miller, 69, of Rosenberg, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, at St. John's United Church of Christ in Rosenberg. The Rev. Don Kolkmeier will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.

Mr. Miller died at his residence Monday, Jan. 19. He was born Nov. 15, 1920 in Moulton. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Rosenberg, the American Legion Post #271, and Veterans of Foreign Wars #3903.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mabel Miller of Rosenberg; two daughters, Melba Ashley and husband, Jimmie, of Richmond, and Lynette Edmonds of Rosenberg; three stepsisters, Meta Pawlock and Norma Enshoff, both of Beasley, and Bertha Whithmore of Durham, N.C.; stepbrother, Alfred Hustede of San Antonio; and three granddaughters and one grandson.

Friends may call at the Davis Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20.

Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
