M. JAY ADAMS, 77, IS DEAD IN AMES.
Ames, Ia. M.Jay Adams, 77, resident of Story county since 1867, died Wednesday morning in his home here. He had been in failing health for a years. He started a furniture and undertaking business in Ames in 1899. In 1930 a partnership in the Adams funeral home was established with two of his sons, Clinton J. And Frank E. Mr. Adams retired in 1942.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. His wife, three sons and a daughter survived.
