He departed Hamburg on 23 May 1893 via the SS Daniel, arriving in NY on 24 Jun 1893. In his Declaration of Intention, filed 24 Apr 1914, he declared his description as white, with a dark complexion, 5'4" weighing 132 with brown hair and eyes.
He declared his wife's name is Mary, who was born 22 July 1886 in Austria. He also declared he had four children:
