Gladys Walker, 77, known to many as Pee Wee, of Pueblo, Colorado passed away in the early morning at her residence in Garland, Texas. A day later on Saturday, March 19, 2005 her husband Gerald Walker, 79, known to many as Curly, of Garland passed away.

Gladys was born in Beaumont, Texas, attended South Park Elementary and graduated from South Park High School in 1945. After graduation, she traveled to Washington DC to work as a secretary before returning to Beaumont to marry Gerald Walker on August 20th, 1947.

She attended Lamar College along with Gerald before moving to Austin and the University of Texas. During those early years, she worked as an executive secretary while Gerald finished his engineering degrees.

Upon Gerald's graduation, they bought a home in Arlington, Texas and started a family, having two daughters. Gladys continued her secretarial career for many years working for several high ranking politicians and military officers.

In later years, the family moved to many places with Gerald's work, living in Texas, California, Florida, Kwajalein in the Marshall Islands, Hawaii, New Mexico, and finally settling in Pueblo, Colorado.

Gladys and Gerald were survived by their two daughters; Gladys's brother and Gerald's brother.

Services for Mr. and Mrs. Walker conducted at Dorman Cemetery in Orange.
