Cynthia was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and grand aunt. She will be dearly missed and remembered for her participation in Special Olympics and her love of Slapstick Comedy. She is preceded in death by her father, Pedro F. Alaniz and mother Irma P. Alaniz.
She is survived by her brother Pete Alaniz (Cynthia), her nephew Nicolas and nieces Melissa; brother David Alaniz (Florencia); nephew David Anthony, niece Sarah Hinojosa (Al) and Angie Smith (Phillip); numerous grandnieces and nephews, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Pius X Catholic Church.
Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
