He was born December 14, 1912, to Ambrose and Maria Mobilia.
He was a lifetime resident of Ely. He married Angela Milklaucic on July 28, 1938, and celebrated 66 years together until her passing away on March 24, 2005. He worked underground at the Pioneer Oliver Mine for 25 years and Reserve Mining for 10 years. He was a member of the AFU. He was a member of the Brittons and Vertins daily coffee talk. Angelo made daily trips to the dump to see what treasures he could find. He was an avid bowler, a great poker player and a good storyteller of the old times.
He is survived by his children: Daniel (Faye) Mobilia, Richard (Karon) Mobilia, Carol (Ray) Camaish, Susan (Merrill) Roberts and David (Kathy) Mobilia; 14 grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Angela; parents; brother, Tony; sister, Mary Mackie; and granddaughter, Stacy MacPherson.
