From a newspaper:

Sandy Carr, 63, of Billings, died on July 1, 2004, at her home at Aspen Meadows due to complications related to multiple sclerosis. She has passed on to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Sandy was born Sandra Lee Rosh to George and Alma Rosh on Jan. 4, 1941, in Billings. Sandy was an inspiration of triumph, encouragement and perseverance in the face of tremendous adversity to those who knew her. Her one wish was that people would remember her with happy thoughts and fond memories.

Sandy was bigger than life and the wheelchair she was bound to could not contain her spirit. Remember Sandy for her zest for life, kind spirit and loving generosity as a mother. She was a caring friend with a quick wit, an infectious laugh and chatty personality, who loved a good cup of coffee and good conversation. Sandy had a tremendous sense of adventure no matter how big or small the outing. She will be missed by her family, but they know Sandy has gone on ahead to a better home.

She is survived by her sons, Brad Kemph of Denver, Colo., and Scott Kemph and daughter-in-law Nancy of Little Rock, Ark.; her mother, Alma Rosh of Billings; her sister, Sharon Scheidt and brother-in-law, Irvin, of Billings; her brother, Steve Rosh and sister-in-law, Beth, of Custer, and seven nieces and nephews.

Sandy's family would like to thank the staff at Aspen Meadows for their excellent care, concern and love for Sandy over the past six years.

In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Center, ATTN: Donation Processing, 700 Broadway, Ste. 810, Denver, CO 80203-3442 or call 1-800 FIGHT MS. www.nationalmssociety.org.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 3, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary. Cremation will follow. The casket will be open on Saturday prior to the service.

Michelotti-Sawyers is in charge of arrangements.
