Charles operated the Lisker Brothers farm with his brother, Frank, for 58 years. He served in World War I, was a member of the American Legion, Johnson-Nichols Post. He served on the town board from 1931 to 1961; also served as a director of Eau Claire Cooperative Oil Co. for 25 years.
