Willie, first lawful child of Patricio José Dunne and María Bernarda Hagan was baptized on November 26, 1907, at the Parish of Inmaculada Concepción, Venado Tuerto, Province of Santa Fe, Argentina, being his godparents Patricio Boyle, native of Ireland, aged 47, and María Doyle, native of Argentina, aged 49, both residing in Rosario.

As to a local paper, about the years 1918/19, Willie was attending Saint Pauls School located at Capitán Sarmiento, Province of Buenos Aires, founded by the ‘Passionist Fathers’. We find him, aged about 10 years, playing the role of Jim Dooley among the names of the actors interpreting a sketch entitled 'The resurrection of Dinny O'Dowd' at the annual prize-giving ceremony.

On December 8, 1944, Willie, aged 37 years, bachelor, residing at 814 Alvear street, Venado Tuerto and Rosa Elena Wheeler, aged 34 years, native of Argentina, single, lawful daughter of Eloy Samuel and Rosa Galice, residing at 2965 Marcos Sastre street, Villa del Parque, City of Buenos Aires, were joined in marriage at the Parish of Santa Ana, located at the same said City; being witnesses to the ceremony María Dunne, nee Hagan and Claudio Lionel Huhn.

The couple resided firstly, at Cafferata, Province of Santa Fe, Argentina and later on they moved to Venado Tuerto, same provice, where they remained for the rest of their lives. They had 2 children.

On December 26, 1985, he died of illness, aged 79 years, married, retired, residing at 398 Pueyrredón street, Venado Tuerto. He is buried at a private crypt owned by the Dunne/Tuite/Kenny families.

His siblings were Dorotea, Lucía, Olive and Juana 'Margarita'.
