George Valentine Severit, Sr., 46-year-old miner last employed by the Patterson-Harding Coal Company, died in his home 616 East Main Street at 6:10 o'clock last night following two months' illness.
Mr. Severit ws born in Belleville on January 30, 1892, and was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Severit, Sr., nee Augusta Hadorn*.
His mother was a native of Illinois, his father a native of Germany. His wife, the former Miss Mamie Palmer, survives.
He also leaves two sons and a daughter;

Funeral at 3 p.m. Monday from the Pete Gaerdner Funeral Home to Walnut Hill Cemetery. The Rev. A. R. Reiss, pastor of the Christ Evangelical Church, will officiate.
