Emma Arisetta (Brown) Davidson was born on January 5, 1853 in Tennessee, and she was the daughter of Aris Brown (1802-1877) and wife Emily (Cartwright) Brown (1810-1881).
She was married about 1870 to John S C Davidson (1848-1918), and he was the son of Samuel B Davidson (1802-1873) and his wife Hannah (Pugh) Davidson (1804-1886).
Living on 4 Miles Charlotte Road, Nashville, Emma was 76 years old and a widow when she died at home of chronic nephritis on October 26, 1929. Burial was two days later in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
