He is predeceased by his first wife Jane (Clapp) Schweiger, his beloved wife of 42 years MaryJo (Parente) Schweiger, daughter ToniJo Hoagland, and his parents Frederick and Julia (Crotty) Schweiger.

Fred was a DC 2nd class in the Navy and has served on the Barton town council. He was an avid farmer who loved to work with his hands. Fred will be remembered, as a storyteller and a prankster. Nothing made him happier than being with (and teasing) his family. He was a very proud husband, father and grandfather. Fred loved watching his grandchildren in all their endeavors.
