Della Lee Osborne Morris, 88, of Cadiz, died at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at her residence of natural causes.
Graveside funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 19, 2013 at Riverside Cemetery conducted by Rev. Mike Dorsey. There will be no public visitation.
Hughart & Beard Funeral Home in Hopkinsville is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Morris was born on September 29, 1924 in Rumsey, Kentucky and was the daughter of the late Ernest Elmore and Lula Pearl Wicks Osborne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack “Rip” Morris. She had been employed at the old Dixie Cafe and then the Island Cafe as a server for many years.
Survivors include a brother, Hugh Elmore Osborne, Sacramento, Kentucky, one sister, Eleanor Laverne McCain, Hopkinsville, a special niece, Jackie Jones, Cadiz, with whom she made her home, and several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
