Magdalena Miltenberger, born 2/14/1920, daughter of Adam Miltenberger and Elizabeth Heinrich, both from Topeka KS.

Baptized 2/22/1920 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Topeka. Sponsors were Magdalena Miltenberger and John P. Schoenfeld.

Helen Rose DeGraeve, 86, of Richmond, formerly of Roseville, died Friday, Sept. 22, 2006, at Fair Acres Care Center, Armada.

She was born Feb. 16, 1920, in Topeka, Kan.

Mrs. DeGraeve married Albert DeGraeve on Feb. 14, 1942, in Detroit.

She is survived by her children, Richard (Catherine) DeGraeve of Fraser, Nancy (Charles) Thurston of Richmond and Victoria (Benjamin) Holland, Grass Lake; grandchildren, Steven (Sherri) DeGraeve, Charlotte DeGraeve, Matthew Paschick, April (Alex) Patchak, Elizabeth Thurston and Sarah (Brian) Mauzy; and great-grandchildren, Jennifer and Joshua DeGraeve.

She was predeceased by her husband, Albert, in 2001; parents, Adam and Elizabeth (nee Heinrich) Miltenburger; and 13 brothers and sisters.

She was a former member of St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church in St. Clair Shores, where she was a member of the choir and served on the altar society. She enjoyed crocheting and sewing.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Mystical Rose Catholic Church, 24040 Armada Ridge, Armada, with the Rev. Bradley Forintos officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Memorial Gardens in Fraser. Visitation is 3-8 p.m. today at Tiffany-Young and Hauss Funeral Home, 73919 North Ave. (north of 33 Mile), Armada. Also, visitation is 10:30-11 a.m. Monday at the church.
