Age 95, of Elgin passed away Monday, April 6, 2015 in his home. He was born August 23, 1919 in Momence, IL the son of Paul and Marie Lareau Saindon. Vi had been a resident of the area since 1950 and was employed by Joseph Triner Corp., Chicago before retiring. He was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Elgin where he served as a head of the ushers. He also served on the Plato Township Cemetery Board for several years and was Sexton at Plato Center Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Emilie M. Saindon on Dec. 14, 2000, and 7 brothers and sisters.
