Diana Thomas Montoya passed away Monday, April 27, 2015, in a local care hospital.

Graveside service in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Diana was born July 21, 1942, in Harlen, Kentucky, to Charles Boss Thomas and Leola Shepherd. She was a daughter, mother, housewife, cosmetologist and Avon representative for many years. Her greatest strength was her courage in the face adversity.

Diana married her soul mate, Amarante "Andy" Montoya June 5, 1965, in Sumter, South Carolina, and spent 42 years happily married to him. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Diana was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

She is survived by sons Edward Montoya and his fianc?, Lynette Shier of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Timothy Montoya and his wife, Catherine of San Angelo and Anthony Montoya of San Angelo; sisters Mary Ruth Turner, Barbara Kay Horton, Imogean Allen, Glenda Faye Thomas and Joyce Thomas; two grandchildren, Tristian and Bobby Montoya; and numerous nieces and nephews.
