Hermine "Hermie" Dodd, 92, of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully in her home April 28, 2015. She was born Sept. 20, 1922, in North Dakota, to Conrad and Elizabeth, one of 12 siblings. Hermie graduated high school and attended business college, which prepared her for her career working at the Pentagon with the Federal Government. Hermie lived life to the fullest. She loved to travel and tap dancing with the Sun City Summerlin Tappers. Hermie was preceded in death by her parents; 10 siblings; and by two husbands, Bill Bauman and Earl Dodd. She is survived by her sister, Addie (Jim). Visitation will be 4-6 p.m., Tuesday, May 5, at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, May 6, at 11 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way. Burial will follow at Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S.
