Dorothy was born September 14, 1923, in Staples to John and Pauline (Jarosch) Kennedy. She graduated from Staples High School and married Norman "Shorty" Trana June 10, 1942, in Staples. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Dorothy worked with her husband at Shorty's Locker Plant in Staples and at Lakewood Health System as a dietary aide for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norman "Shorty"; and all of her siblings.
